About Glideator
Developed by furniture restorers to help sticking wooden drawers glide more easily.
How Glideator was created
We are Doug and Jesse, the furniture restorers behind Glideator. After years working with upcycled furniture, sticking wooden drawers kept coming up. We developed Glideator to help reduce that friction and make drawers easier to use.

After years of struggling with sticking drawers, we hand-formulated a selected mixture of USP grade components to create the right combination. Through thorough testing, we landed on a formula that reduces friction on wood drawer slides in furniture, cabinets, doors, and many more applications.
No gimmicks — just a straightforward lubricant that lets wood do what it should: glide.
What it does for your furniture
Reduces wear & friction
A coating of Glideator means smoother, easier-to-operate drawers with less grinding on the slides.
Helps with everyday use
Reducing friction can make intact wooden drawers easier to open and close. Damaged runners and loose joints may need repair.
Restores old pieces
Bring a stubborn antique dresser or kitchen cabinet back to an easy, quiet glide.
“I had a problem with a dresser where the drawers were sticking and difficult to open and close. I tried everything from soap to candle wax, but nothing worked. The application was straightforward, and within seconds the drawers were sliding smoothly and easily. It was like having a brand new dresser!”
